Foundational histology services—tissue fixation, dehydration, paraffin embedding, serial sectioning and frozen sectioning—connectable to H&E staining and immunohistochemistry, providing standardized sample preparation for tissue-morphology observation, protein-localization studies and pathological analysis.

## Service Scope

| Paraffin sections | Fixation, dehydration, embedding and serial sectioning (typically 4–5 μm) |
| Frozen sections | OCT embedding and snap-freezing, cryosectioning (typically 8–10 μm) |
| H&E staining | Routine histomorphological staining and imaging |
| Immunohistochemistry | Tissue localization and expression analysis of target proteins (antibodies purchasable on request) |

 
 

## Sample Requirements

 SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS Fresh tissue Fix promptly (4% paraformaldehyde) Fixed tissue Ample fixative; ship at 4°C Frozen tissue Ship on dry ice at -80°C Sampling requirements: moderately sized tissue blocks (≤1.5 cm recommended); fix for 24–48 hours and avoid over-fixation. Submission notes: specify tissue origin, sampling site and sectioning requirements; embed frozen samples in OCT and ship on dry ice.

 How long does a Pathology Research Platform project take? Standard projects take 1-3 weeks depending on complexity and sample size; projects involving cell modeling or multi-batch processing follow the confirmed study plan. Can we provide our own reagents or antibodies? Yes. You may supply key reagents/antibodies, or we can purchase them per the study plan. Please include datasheets and storage conditions for supplied materials. Does the report include raw data? Yes. Deliverables include raw records (membrane images, raw values, image files) together with processed statistical results — fully traceable. What samples do you need for Pathology Research Platform? ELISA serum/plasma ≥50 μL, WB lysate ≥20 μg protein, flow samples ≥100 μL (within 24 h), tissue ≥0.5 cm³ (4% PFA 24–48 h; OCT-embedded, dry ice). See Technical Resources → Sample Guide .
